Ok, I have solved the problem. The BIOS were corrupted when I reset them, so I had to find the correct BIOS. Acer website has wrong download of flashing BIOS. After hours, I found the correct BIOS on a Russian site. The file is ZRPBIOS.FD

If you flash that file, the problem is solved.

I'm new to the forums. I have an Acer Aspire V5-551 that I may have bricked.

I was trying to clear the CMOS by removing the battery and letting it set for 30 or so minutes. I then plugged the ac back in and booted it forgetting to put the CMOS battery back in. Needless to say, it no longer boots (stuck on the Acerloading screen). And the password didn't clear. The most infuriating thing is that I now remember the password, and I can go into the bios, but none of the settings related to booting mode or secure boot are saving after reboot.
