Hi guys, I have the exact same problem with my 47lg50 tv.
I replace the power supply board with one off eBay that I thought would most likely be the problem, but didn't fix it. Could it be the backlights inverters ?Leave a comment:

did you fix this? i just found your post. i have same tv same issue. just replaced the power board too from ebay, yupp just when i hook it up, tv turns on great, but than shuts off with the red light blinking. was it your backlight inverter boards? thanks palLeave a comment:
