Re: Jura Coffee Machine grinder motor
Hi
Noise filters you believe?
Yes, definitely 230VDC. The US models run 110VDC. Must be a control thing as when there are no beans in the grinder it figures it out through load on the the grinder, no other sensors to tell you its empty! Yet some how it knows.
Thanks for your reply though.
But yes the unit obviously plugs into 230-240v AC

Jura Coffee Machine grinder motor
Hi
Not sure where to post this.
I have just received from overseas my replacement coffee machine grinder motor however this motor which is 230vdc does not have the same capacitors fitted to it as the original does.
Silly question if anyone knows would they be needed? What are they for? Just wondering if i need to install on the the new motor as they are on both positive and negative terminals then spot welded to the the motor body. I believe they are 1.0 to 2.5nF according to online data sheet. Perhaps for noise ?
Thanks for any info in advance...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi all,
trashnetter here. Just joined up to see if I can learn a thing or two and maybe fix some of the items lying around the home that run on electrickery! without killing myself or anyone else. Have been an electrician since 1993 but never really dabbled with fixing things on a component level. Fingers crossed eh?
