I have a laptop motherboard in which the S5 power line is shorted to ground. The output generated is going through a power jumper pad. How do I isolate the generation point and the rest of the circuit? Do I need to cut the line or is there any other way?... -

My TV has the dreaded 6 times standby LED blinking issue. When pressing the power button I hear crackling noise from the backlight led trying to glow and then goes into the protection blinking indication. Is there a way to override the backlight protection and test this? -

All the voltages for the above mentioned pins are within range. Problem was fixed by cleaning the area around VRM controller (U3) by IPA .

I'm having issues with VCORE generation. I'm getting only partial voltage of .75 instead of 1.2 volts. I believe VRM_GD not generated because of this.
Help me troubleshoot this problem.

Injected 0.9V with 3A limit and identified the shorted capacitor. Now the 1.2V VTT is generated. Still the board is having issues as it is not booting yet. Will get back with more questions.

I am having a MSI g41 motherboard. The VTT voltage for north bridge should be around 1.2V. But it is generating only 0.9V. The 1.2V VRef is coming from SIO chip. See the attachments for reference. Any help appreciated. Thanks...
