when i unplug the t-con ribbon to the left shows white half with the other half showing blue lines

no i dont have any test equipment with me
the blue line show up right in the middle prior to the set becoming like this

Hey everyone
i have a LG 55LS4500UD which stop working while i was watching tv blue lines show up and tv when blank sounds still comes in i could see the backlight on
i when i ahead an replace the t-con Board thinking it would fix the issue but nothing happen could this be a bad main board? or a is the display dead i dont want to keep wasting money on it if its a display issue... -

Wow. I just couldn't help noticing your posting in the classified section. Bad screens? Well, where would a guy go to get another panel? I've soldered caps on one mobo and may do another one in 2015. I've taken a 20" monitor apart (damaged it, had to throw away) so I know how to be careful now.
I can't come up there right away (I'm a few miles from the river and Louisville) but after Xmas I might really enjoy a project like that. I'm tired of collecting old 4x3 CRT televisions.
Please let me know if it might be possible to hook up with you.

i have a sony kdl-32l5000 that has a nice picture everything works but after about 5-10m the image goes dark i still have sound but image is very dark like when the iverter or lamp goes out on a laptop what could be the issue ? -

Hello i would like to start of by saying thank you to all the help
i have a samsung ln32a330j1d a customer gave me because he could not pay for his computer work he had taken this to a local tv repair shop because you could only hear but no picture but i plug it in and now i wont turn on only shows a red led i have open it up here is the photo i see that the repair man took a small chip which i found tape to the tuner cover i believe he change the power supply theres some markings on it...Last edited by indypctech; 09-24-2010, 05:26 PM. -
