Well I was hoping to get some insight from here but oh well. With the power board putting out the proper voltage to all the various boards, including standby voltage, but a completely unresponsive system with no blinking standby light I figured it was a fried main board. It was. Found a used main board on eBay and put it in. Works great now. Just in case anyone comes across a similar situation.

I have a Sony KDL-46W5150 that has no backlight and no standby light. Hit the power button and the little "SONY" below the screen and the green power light illuminate but that's it. No backlight, no sound, not much of anything. When powered off, the standby light doesn't come on either. The power board is putting out 12V to the inverter boards, and has 3.3V standby voltage. Does the wake-up signal come from the main board or the power board? I'm thinking my issue lies in one of those two components (and I'm leaning toward main board) but I've kind of hit the limit of my diagnostic knowledge....
