just an update, got my board back after sending it to PTS electronics and it works great, watching it now. quick turnaround and works as intended. i do wish they would have said what was wrong with it lol.Leave a comment:

well hurricane matthew hit me last week and power surges were abundant. killed my surge protector and my TV. The tv is a few years old but worked great until this. When I powered it up the remote wouldn't work and I had to manually push the button on the side. I can hear clicking in the back as if its coming on but the screen is unresponsive. and after the 3 min it just shuts off from no use.
what info do I need to give you guys and what should I look for in order to fix this?
