im going to look into it tonight, its probably going to take me a bit to carefully get at the board proper, because the damn thing apparently needs to be stripped completely for you to get access to it...

truth be told i wouldnt even know where to look for that, im a bit of a beginner im afraid. i imagine with the 8540* being a 1st gen core chip laptop it might have a different board to this one? im not sure though....Leave a comment:

i hate to necro a dead thread, but does anyone know if theres a schematic for this board available anywhere? its my first crack at board diagnostics and repair, so i kinda need all the help i can get with this. i found asc files apparently containing details on the 8560w, but as far as i can see thats a different board.Leave a comment:
