After doing some research I believe I might have lost regulation on the VS circuit. How can I confirm this?

Got this tv from my sister.

BACKGROUND:
It stopped working for them, stored in garage for a few months. Turned it on for 10 min. It worked ( no input hooked up). Next day. Didnt work. Transported to my house. worked. hooked up hdmi PC signal. Worked for a bit then image started to decay and then off. Worked a second time, same kind of decay. Now nothing. Have it appart. Narrowed it down to power supply board or logic board. All caps look good. Faint weird electronics smell from power supply board. Power supply gives me alarm code 2. (Vs) dont know what Vs means. when I disconnect...
