I didn't really understand the ohms test so I didn't perform that but I kept trucking along.

They were out of stock at Mouser so I bought them from ebay (RTR020N05TL model specifically).

When I tested the new board I bought for ~$70 I had the right side unplugged and had no change in picture. I replaced the transistors on both my factory board and the new one that I just fried. Plugged in the original board only the LVDS cable and tested it, voltages looked good!

Ah nuts. Is there info in this thread about the transistors you need to buy to repair a board?

Don't want to keep throwing new boards at it. This one was $70.

So I checked the 100 3r3 and 4r7 posts as you recommend:

100: 12v
3r3: 0v
4r7: 0v

Did I fry the new tcon board already?...

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can give me some pointers here.

-I have the e70i-a3
-One day the picture died and but the audio was still pumping
-saw this thread and seemed to have same symptoms
-Ordered new t-con board from shopjimmy
-installed new t-con board, removed lower right ribbon cable, plugged TV back in
-no change in symptoms, screen is black, no 'v' upon fire up, but backlight is on
-checked connections, reinstalled right side ribbon cable, removed left side ribbon cable, tried...
