I have potentially the same problem with Sony NSX-40GT1, 4.5 yrs. old looking for repair manual ( service manual available not needed to troubleshoot) which seems not to be available on any sites. Issue with tv was it went black & no sound, two blinking red lites ( 5 sec pause) where normally green. Checked power supply output @ 13 pin connector, only standby pin had correct 3v. No output voltage on other pins ( some are grounds), caps look good without testing, could transistors be failed or possible a voltage regulator? I can not find schematics...
