New at this forum, came across searching on db940 troubles.
I have troubles with my Sony STR-DB940 amplifier and am not willing to throw it away; it really has perfect sound and power.
The problem occurs with the rear surround speakers: they don't work
.Well, sometimes they do. While testing with the builtin testtone I had no sound on both rear speakers. Now, while the amp is transmitting the sound to the rear speakers and I turn the volume to >80% it pops in. Like I scared him.. I have to do this with both L and R rears and they would work for...
