I checked old, dead dump - bios date was from 04/10/2014, this one is from 04/15/2015. A lot of EC FW updates between, but still it worked. Notebook started fine, but display color is a bit off, hard to tell - it's bad cable or EC.
Could it be bad EC instructions?
