  • Re: Philips 52" LCDTV 5000 series question

Wow! Was a question regarding any issues with caps in general this is the reason I posted here and not AVS. Atleast this was the intent of the post should of been more detailed.
I did my homework on the Philips as posted and got good reviews my question was regarding electronics maybe here people have dealt with these in that manner.
I never compared Sony to Polaroid I just stated I did not like those brands.
Had no intention of returning the TV Just wanted to see if anyone with the specific model I had maybe had...

  • Re: nice burn in on sanyo lcd at walmart

My Sanyo 26" LCD TV also gets image burn in.
At first it would go away after awhile but this last burn in that happened from falling asleep while it was on a show that was 4:3 ratio and the sides are a permanent burn in now.

I always thought LCD's were pretty safe from burn in owning this sanyo has proven different also have seen the old Dell LCD TV's get burn in.

Purchased the Philips 5000 series LCD 4 months ago and noticed right away it does not get burn in like my Sanyo does.

Anyhow I did some researching before purchasing the Philips 52" LCDTV Model# 52pfl5704d/f7
From my understanding certain manufacturers produce all Plasma panels and certain manufacturers produce LCD panels for all TV's.
From what I read was Philips was one of the LCD manufacturers so I stayed...
