I was wondering if the mainboard might be a culprit since a new tcon only fixed it for a week or two and resulted in the same fault. I'll pick up a can of aie tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks again!

Ah! No i haven't tried that. First i heard of that actually. So if the picture does change I'll need to find a better t-con? And thanks a lot for the tip!

Is this a newer symptom or an older one that I haven't asked the right question for the search to let me know some new avenue to try, inspect, or look? Behind the vertical lines it's such a beautiful picture I really hope I can get something sorted out. Hopefully someone could let me know what I haven't done or done right?

Hey all, very new to this and have these colored vertical lines across the tv. I started by replacing the t-con board and that fixed it for about a week or two. I've searched youtube and forums, including this one, and articles for help. I cleaned the ribbon connections, baked boards, tapped on everything, moved everything, and even tried messing with the bonding tabs and nothing changes. Hopefully these pics will show what I'm seeing and maybe someone can tell me what is causing a working t-con to fail the same way the last one did or if I'm fighting a losing battle altogether.
