Re: Sharp LC-60LE832U Burnt 5v Standyby... lightning
Thanks everyone for the sources, I have ordered the fusible resistors that feed the chip as well. Because its so cost effective, I figured it would be smart to get it coming anyway.. just in case. Some parts are coming from the US... some from china, so hopefully the wait isn't too long. Thanks again for everyone's input, made the search a lot easier for parts. Go into an electronics store, they basically say flush off. Come here, you guys do all but the work; appreciate it for sure.

Sharp LC-60LE832U Burnt 5v Standyby... lightning
Hey everyone, I was hoping someone with a big brain could lend me a minute. I have a dps-183bp-4 a board (runtka798wjn1) that took a lightning strike. well.. the transformer on the pole did, blew it up, blew up my outdoor heat pump.. and my tv. So I am looking to change out my exploded ic7905 chip and the related resisters etc. The problem is, is that i can not find a repair kit for my model of board, does anyone know if the Sharp RDENCA336WJQZ (DPS-286AP) Power Supply Component Repair Kit will work?
