I've just (successfully) recapped one of these boards. They used the worst capacitors they could find, really. Mine were Choyos all around. Despite this, the board is quite good.

Hi all

I need to replace some 1500uF/6.3 V and 1500uF/10V. I haven't been able to find new ones with the exact same specs. I could get 2200 uF/6.3 or 10V (Panasonic FC), which some forum members have said are pretty good. I haven't asked about 1800uFs, but maybe they stock them.

What do you suggest? There are still some places where I could try to find caps more similar to the original ones, but I could get the 2200uFs from a reputable store, and for a very low price, too.

So they aren't that bad? I certainly expected them to be the worst of the worst because of their price... they cost me the equivalent of US$ 0.08 approx!

This is my first message. I really want to thank you for the information you provide regarding this sadly widespread problem. I always tell people with unstable machines to come to this site! It's certainly the "bible" of caps.

I need yor help to identify these caps I've recently bought. They are not branded in any way, except for their capacitance/voltage numbers (1000uf/6.3V) and maximum working temperature (105ºC FC). Below that there is an 'M' inside a square. They also have another weird inscription: 61IIQE.
