Unknown cap maker
I have a motherboard That had a lot of Rubycon caps on it . But it also has a lot of cap's that just have a large A on them. Some of these are black and some are the same color as the Rubycon's. All of them do have white writing on them. Any one have any idea who makes these? -

My mistake this board is an ecs K7s5a. not fic. I was working on a fic motherboard also at the same time. -
Fic k7s5a with bad caps
There were 7 bad Gluxon 2200uf caps on this board. I replaced them with rubycon's and all is well running fine for now. -

In the last two days I have repaired 2 video cards with bad caps.
One was an asus x300se Radeon 128m pci ex with 3 bad caps.
the other one was a geforce 5700ve with 256 mb it had 6 bad caps.
Both cards are working fine now .Leave a comment:

I pulled this out of a system i was working on. This board has 15 G-Luxon
1000 uf 6.3 volt caps 14 of which are bad. The rest of the caps on this board are larger uf Rubycons that seem fine. My question is, do I need to change all
caps or just the bad ones?
