Yes, I checked the speaker connecter plug on the main board and the speakers many many times.

Is the speaker "AMP" actually on the main board? or is there another board providing speaker power to the main board?

what is very odd, is that everything else works video/inputs perfectly, and that the sound previously worked.

Panasonic TC-P42X5 I purchased new in the box 2012, barely used.

Few months ago, both HDMI inputs stopped working, used Component Video/RCA Audio Inputs until those stopped working as well, nothing else was wrong with the TV.

Purchased an "A" Main board with warranty and installed it, restored the inputs and the video, but no audio.... Audio previously had no issues.
I reset the tv settings to Factory Settings, the volume "bar" on the tv moves when the volume is adjusted, tried both HDMI inputs, tried the RCA audio inputs, tried different...
