I am trying to fix my neighbors TV and I suspect it is the display. It has sound and no video there is backlights and a green power light. The pico fuse FP1 on the T-Com board was bad so I bought a replacement T-Com board. I checked the new/used boards fuse and it was good so I installed it and still no video. I pulled the new board and the fuse was blown now. I installed the original and connected a temp external 3A fuse and still no video and now no back lights. I disconnected the FPC_right ribbon cable and the right side was all white and the left side had menu messages. i then connected only...

I have been working in the electronics/computer field for a long time and like to fix stuff. my first computer was a self built Apple II. I found this forum looking for a solution to repair my neighbors Sony TV. So far no luck but a lot of good info here.
