Nope, was working fine and it blew. I'm usually pretty good with storms (too much crap to lose to being lazy). Something is definitely wrong with the outlet because it no longer needs to be switched on to power devices (but that's a job for a qualified sparky)....

So I had this TV and an amp plugged into the same powerpoint when the amp blew and took the TV with it . When I turn it on the standby light starts off flashing green, then goes to red and does the 4 SOS blinks.

Now, I've found the service manual (I'd post it but it claims doing so is illegal) and I do have a Bryman BM235 multimeter, is anyone here able to help me find and fix the problem I'm having. I have a tiny bit of experience fixing TV's but they've mostly been simple fixes like replacing caps and based on [URL="https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=30054"]this...
