The TV has noise from any input. If I choose a scaled down signal from my Mac (1080i or 780p) the display is better but still has noise. Sometimes noise tends to be greenish on lighter colors, reddish on dark colors. Otherwise it's just flickering white with more intense areas of noise spaced about 4" apart mostly on the left side of the screen.

If there's no signal the screen is clean and has a No Signal message that looks perfect. I would think if it's the t-con board the menu would also have noise on it. So I'm inclined to think it's the main board.

Hi.. I'm interested in repairing TVs, especially if there's a known issue. Got my hands on a Samsung LN-S4095 with issues, will be posting about that.
