Is there a way to rule out the power supply 100% ?
Has anyone tried repairing a mainboard? Replacing eeprom?
Does the replacement mainboard's number has to match 100% ?

Is there a way to troubleshoot the mainboard or reflash the eeprom? I've been to a technician, he said after 3 days, that the power supply needs to be replaced and he'll even do it for a mere 280$. That's when I checked it myself.Leave a comment:

Hi Forum!
I have a problem with the above mentioned TV. It has no standby light and does not turn on. There's no visual damage on the powersupply panel, the fuse is ok.
When I unplug the mainboard the PS_ON/OFF pin produces 3.3V and the backlight turns on.
Is it a power supply problem? I've also read it could be a corrupt firmware. -
