Well I guess its a logic board not a tcon. How do you test a ysus or zsus?

I just decided to hook up my cell phone to the audio inputs and then hook an n64 up to the video and kept hitting input on the remote. Turns out the audio is working so I guess I might have a bad tcon board eh?Leave a comment:

So I got the set to fire up like it is supposed to but all I get is a black screen with red static on a mostly black screen. Anyone witness this before? It had a few cold solders on the power supply and a main board problem.

So I replaced a power supply on this tv and it fired right up, so I put the cover back on hooked it up and couldnt get any of the inputs to work. I can go to the menu, picture is crystal clear and even though the inputs are on two different boards none of them work except for the USB input. It is the weirdest thing. I tried another main board and it does the exact same thing. All I could think of is possibly one of the ribbon cables got messed up. I'm trying to find replacements now.

Just want to double check RTR020N05 is the upgraded MOSFET correct? Where were they purchased in Texas? Also is there anyone that can install these reasonably? I'm not very good at soldering things this small.Leave a comment:
