can u tell us pls, where exactly the dc board is connected to ur hdmi board? where do the wires go? hard to see in the pictures. Is ur dts chip's 5 volt still present or did he cut a trace or something like that?
The Dts has its own rom, as u can read in the datasheet and maybe needs to be programmed to.
I think he took of the 5 volt from the dts and takes the 5 volt from the lil board, so that the dsp doesnt has to....

Re: Macbook A1466 bad backlight fuse, keeps blowing
Though its an old thread i dont want to open a new one.
I got the same problem with my 820-3209, replaced the fuse ad it blew again, checked lcd bklt en and it is 0 volts. smc_lid is 3.4 volt.
My LVDS looks bad, would u replace it first or keep troubleshooting? And if u keep troubleshoot, than where do i continue? without the fuse i cant mesure voltage right?
Its prety hard to finda sjhort to ground, checked the whole section on the top of my board, where the lvds connector is located.

Hi. Wondering if you ever found a boardview for Apple 820-2565-A ?
Seems i have a blown fuse and one side measures to ground (near the display port on the same side as the port).
