Help saving this power controller for FURNACE
hello,
I have an old furnace in house and this is its [U]working control module.[/U]
[COLOR="Red"]How can I collect information/date/readings/measurements from this working module so in case if something happens to this working module I can cross check from the information noted down and find broken component easily.[/COLOR]
Should I take diode mode measurements of all the soldered pins on the board?
Any other ideas?
I am not too good electronics troubleshooting

This A1708 macbook pro 13 2017 , 820-00840-A has no backlight but image is there,.
I cant find the problem with backlight not working,
Watched youtube videos as well for troubleshooting,
Replaced following parts in backlight circuit
- u8400
- q8400
- D8401
- C8400
still no backlight, only shows image
I have 13V but no voltage on L8410, please check picture below to see measured voltage and resistance

Hello,
On this Macbook Air A1466 with 820-00165
I have only 8V on backlight line but no high voltage in boost circuit, I have checked all components like caps and diode and they seems to be ok.
I have noticed that when macbook chimes after turning on there is no image at all even with flash light,
I have tried 2 different OEM LCD and still there is no image,
I see the LCD fades out when i remove power or turn off the macbook.
I have 2 problems
1 No image
2 No backlight, but i have 8VDC on backlight circuit.

hello,
this printer internal power supply is dead,I cant figure out with my limited knowledge that why the lower output part of circuit is not getting any DCV. I have measured voltages across transformer and I found 24vdc but nothing on the other side of transformer, please have a look at pictures, any help is kindly appreciated. thanks.
Measuring VAC shows on 0 VAC across any two selected pins on yellow transformer. only in DC mode is showing 24VDC as shown in picture.

but BKL_PWM AND EDP_BKLT_PWM are 0.35V ❌ ❌ is missing already and how come when i put SMC_LID volts to BKL_PWM and there was still no backlight.

R7704 AND C7704 are not shorted out to ground.
BKL_EN is +3V ✅ 🆗
VIN is +5V ✅ 🆗
PPVOUT_SW_LCDBKLT_FB +8V ✅ 🆗
SMC_LID is present +3V ✅ 🆗
[B]i put SMC_LID volts to BKL_PWM and still no backlight. I jumped wire from SMC_LID TO BKL_PWM and still no backlight[/B]
Please help, is it LCD or GPU U0500 ?
