Try to change all eight 100uF/16V Capacitors on the control Board. This should solve your heating Problem with the Fets. But make sure you take the real Low ESR Capacitors!!!

The FETs on the smaller heatsink are also new. The heatsink is bigger than the original one. The Resistors are also new. So every Part is new. But the ZSUS Board seems not to work. is there a way to test it?Leave a comment:

Vs is okey , and the fuse is also fine. The output Voltage wouldnt be there if the fuse would be blown.Leave a comment:

Hey Folks,
I´m still into a fight with the LG 50PS3000.
After replacing all Capacitors on Control Board and all Fets on ZSUS Board, the Picture is still snowy and reddish.
The Voltages are okey so far:
Va= 65,02V (should be 65V)
Vs = 194,96V (should be 195V)
ZBias = 96,7V (should be 97V)
Voltage about the 2,2R Resistor is 0,015V
The Output Voltage to ZSustain is 84V if Screen is bright and 89V if Screen is dark
Can anyone tell me whats going on there? All Fets are new, and all Voltages are present.

Try to disconnect the both PCBs: ZSUS Board (Right Side) and YSUS Board (Left Side). If You Power on now, and the Relais is still holding, than you know that the Fault is somewhere there. Measure tzhe Voltages on the Connectors, explicit VS and VA. They should be there if the Power Board work properly.Leave a comment:

Measure the 12V line (if available) . I had a similar Problem with a PDP50H20000
There was a 12V Regulator faulty. It only does 10Volts and decreasing. At 9.5V the Power supply switches itself off. this took 10-20Minutes till it was off.

Now i've discovered a strange behaviour. The Temperature raises fast after booting up the TV. In the first Two Minutes the HeatSink is up to 120℃ . But then the Temperature falls back to 55℃ and stay there while working in normal Operation.Leave a comment:

If it is normal thta the little heat sink is that warm, i can live with it. But i think this would not be good. Adding a little Fan is possible, but this would make a little noise. I only need to know if it is normal and the ZSUS Board is working in its parameter. I will measure the Temperatur an give you some values.....Leave a comment:

You mean the both 2,2R Resistors? They are okey. Or do you mean the both 470R Resistors for the Gate? But these ones are also okey
Thermal Paste is added, i had to insulate the Fets with a silicon pad, beause they are normal To220Leave a comment:

Hi Folks, i´ve bought a 50PS3000 as defect for repair for myself. The reason why it doesn´t show any picture was found very fast: The ZSUS Board was faulty. I´ve then found 3 Mosfets on this board , and all are fryed. So i replaced the two 20NF20 , the one 51N25 and a fryed 45F122 against a IRG4BC40F which seems compatible. Now the TV is working again, and everything seems to be fine. But i think the little Heat-sink, on which the both 20NF20 are mounted, is far too hot!!! It is nearly 50°C , and i think this is too much for this one. What could it be? If i let...Leave a comment:
