Yeahh, I can see why.. I think for the next few days I'm going to poke around a bit more before I buy the board in total. I definitely appreciate the help though. If anyone has any suggestions or requests for info, please don't hesitate! Your suggestion might save me from buying a board outright

well so far, I don't notice any cracked solder joints. I suppose I'll keep checking.

I did some additional checking of voltages of the two flex cables coming out from the Digital Mains board, following the schematic on page 35 (function board, for the controls), and page 36 (digital board)

I have a Philips TV gifted by a friend that won't turn on (no standby LED, or screen LED), hopefully someone has the same issue or can help me with this
It previously worked (for about an hour) and then when I turned it on the next day, it was completely dead.

Hey guys, I'm Tony from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
