I want to wake up this topic a bit.....
I tried removing resistors from FET-s source, but current did not changed...
tried also double the source resistance from Q8601....still the same current...go figure....

What was original primary controller? I don't think FAN6300 is. Did you see mark on the chip or you take it from schematic?

I got definitely non working PS from seller....When I power up TV, +8V goes to +13 like it should, but then PS shuts down...+13V goes to 0 and then STBY again(+8V).
If I supply MB +13V from external supply, and external voltage to working part of BL, I got working TV...:-)...Leave a comment:

I have a same problem....
ordered new PS and same problem.
There are 2 separate circuits of backlight, one on mine not working...Is it possible that this set will not power up with half of BL open (blinking red LED like in the beginning of thread)??

I am stuck with LOGO philips on this TV. "autorun.upg" does nothing.
After power up, shows logo "philips" then it turns off backlight and logo(black screen).If I try to turn it off with remote red led blinks and turns on, so I supose it really turns off.
someone point me to right direction for download upgrade loader to try it? :-)

UE43NU7192 burned difuser...replaced difuser and leds
Barely cost efective repair....
UE49NU7172 replaced leds and difuser turned 180 deg(not flipped), like Handsworth said.Picture acceptable.
another 43NU7192 badly burned difuser... changed,final result like "alltvrepairs" said, I got a Picture brighter at the lower part. maybe my fault, maybe had to turn difuser 180deg, but customer accepted and I didn't touch it after that.

This is my third or fourth SHARP AQUOS with this symptoms....
I did it every time...but this one is driving me crazy...there is no buttons on the TV...only remote control (OMG....RF one, not IR)
Can someone post a solution for this one please?? -

I was playing a bit with buttons on the keyboard and found a solution
so....holding VOL- and INPUT and then press POWER on the keyboard....set powers up, panel(backlight) blinks and goes in error again(normal, led bar wasn't changed yet).Leave a comment:

I checked led bars and one led bar is bad. I can change that but, how to reset this TV? It has sensor touch keyboard, so neither procedure with buttons-sensors does not work...
