Sadly not.. Had to disassemble to change the battery and nothing fall out....

Trying to identify 2 missing components on PCB of a Huawei smartwatch.
Hi!
I have this Huawei Smartwatch, model W1 or Classic (have seen both names).
The smartwatch works, but only when it's charging. It charges, but it gets very very hot to the touch.
If I unplug it from the charger, the smartwatch will endlessy reboot until it has no battery left. The battery drains very fast.
Replaced the battery with a brand new one, from Huawei, but I still have the same problem.
Upon disassembling the smartwatch, I identified two missings components on the PCB. This 2 components, are the one's that I circle around...Last edited by datsnow; 05-29-2020, 02:48 PM. -

Well, I unsoldered the black cable and it's still not heating, but now the temperature keeps around 97/96ºc.
Does this symptoms indicate the real problem?...Leave a comment:

Those two leads are supposed to be connected to each other?
If you're talking about a spare soldering iron to work it, yes, a replacement to this one for the station, no.Leave a comment:

On the place you got 3ohm, I got 13.4ohm on both of them.
On the palce you got 55ohm, I got flutuations between 1.3 and 0.2 depending on the cables (both lines are conected to red and black wire)...Leave a comment:

I'm owner of a Baku 702B. I do some SMD work with it, and since I have a spare soldering iron that works very well for the little soldering that I do, I hardly use the soldering iron that this station comes with.
(To add some info, this station went to RMA some months ago, the hot air gun resistance was changed to a new one.)
So, some days I needed to use the soldering iron that comes with the station, but for my surprise, the temperature would not rise. The temperature screen would always show 22/23ºc and no matter what, if I rised or decreased the...Last edited by datsnow; 06-26-2018, 09:31 AM. -

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Checked the battery with the multimeter, 0.1~0.2v, it was time for a change, for sure lol
Swapped the battery for a new one and the "in the exact moment I plugged the power supply cord into the power outlet, the computer just started by itself" problem disappeared. Now, when i plug the PSU cord, the board needs my power button click to start.
But, still, the same thing happens. No boot, no beeps and no video and the fans keep running, but now...Leave a comment:

Hi!
So I picked up a Dell Optiplex 380 that was laying around from the university I study on and when I arrived home, got to test it.
The PC came without PSU, so I got in a HP branded one (that was known as good), and in the exact moment I plugged the power supply cord into the power outlet, the computer just started by itself The fans run at max speed, there's no beeps, no video and no post. The computers keeps running and running with the fans at max speed and nothing happens.

so after all this time i got all the caps that i need and have bought along a baku 702b rework station since i'm starting myself on reballing but have been facing a problem while trying to repair my 7870.
so, i got the caps some months ago and back then i tried to use my 15€ soldering iron that i got from a eletronics store to do the job. the solder in the caps legs would not melt for nothing, i tried again, and again, and again and nothing. ok. i created...Last edited by datsnow; 12-22-2016, 10:48 AM.Leave a comment:

1 - It's better to finish baking the card with all caps on or if i can, remove them all and bake it? Is there any difference?

After some research i found out that this caps are from a company called Elite.. and Elite it's not that well talked about..
which brands for the new caps you guys recommend? i was thinking on getting APAQ for the ones with 270uf and 16v and for the 330uf and 2.5 dont really know which brand to choose of.

my 1st post here, i think this place is my best choice to found the answer to my problem! i hope i'm not wrong.
sorry if my english is bad at some parts, since i'm portuguese, i'm not that fluent :p
so, the problem. i have a 7870 Ghz Edition 2GB. i started to have some artifacts some days ago and after searching, and since the card's warranty has finished way long ago, i tried the "oven reflow method".
i inserted the pcb into the oven, with all the precautions, for 8 minutes. the first 5 minutes were pretty standard, but... -
