That's unfortunately not possible. Chip is bad, it overheats when I apply external 3V supply (it pulls +3VLDO to 0.5V). Customer dropped some screws onto powered board... -

Asus Strix G513RC EC firmware needed
IT5571E-128 EC on this board is dead. Motherboard is G513R-MV-VGT (6050A3348206-MB-A01).
Anyone have EC firmware?

If someone need EC firmware for LA-H461P here it is, dumped from working machine.
EC firmware can be extracted from main BIOS (00D18000 to 00D37FF0)....Leave a comment:

Just replace fu*king eDP cable!
After fighting with this laptop for the whole day testing every component around eDP connector and finding nothing, I tested cable for the continuity. And yes, some lines are missing.
In my particular case, 8 (!) wires are broken, 5 completely and 3 are held in place by isolation only....Leave a comment:

Does not work whatever I tried.
So it's either a hardware issue, or someone before me flashed it with wrong bios and original bios content is lost...

Hi all,
I have this S145? without label. I don't know exact model and I don't know serial number. Motherboard is NM-C121without discrete graphics and without soldered RAM.
Laptop is powering on, but no image. All voltages are present except +VCC_GT (PL5901) but it does not look like hardware issue.
I tried few different bioses (with and without original DMI) from this thread but no luck so far.
Anyone have any idea?
