Alright, I did a search, found out about the sc 50 test. I did that, still have 7 blinks, which shows the SC board is the problem. I also saw several posts referring to a way to test the SU and SD boards. Does anyone have a link showing how to perform those tests?

Panasonic Viera P55GT31 7 blinks to 8 blinks
I'm trying to do a favor for a friend with a non working P55GT31. It was showing the 7 blink error. I unplugged both cables going to the SC board, plugged it back in and powered it on, now it's showing 8 blinks. What do I need to look at now? Or is the tv just toast? -
