    Is the 68uf filter cap you took out leaky? Check with ohmmeter Rx1 forward and reverse.

  • Visio TV color blooming - Need help!

    I have an older large screen Visio LCD TV. Picture is good except for what I think is called color blooming. It happens with both antenna and component input (HDMI inputs are not working - this is another problem with these Visio TVs). I hope to attach a picture of the screen to this not (if I can figure out how!). Any help or advice will be appreciated.

    I just found this site and I'm happy to join the group! I am a retired IC designer, both digital and analog. I just retired last yearl.
