My bad lol. Not soldered resistor right. Resolded and now spark gone.va and vs and standby voltages correct.m_on & rl_on read 3.31v when tv turned on. All voltages right going to zsus and ysus. Not sure what I'm looking for to be honest. Need to more research on parts and testing. I'm more a cap or board changerLeave a comment:

Vzb 140.3 i found a dead resistor r563 on ysus changed it .just noticed a small spark when booting up now. ysus a mosfet d442 going to check that out back soonLeave a comment:

Yes seen a bit something on this forum about a capacitor under that glue c205 I think .cleared glue from that and tested cap seems OK. Going to clear all off now and get back to you soon thanksLeave a comment:

Hi guys. Any help much appreciated. Got this TV a while back but never had time to look at it right. Done obvious stuff like caps all good.
Problem is when turn on screen flashes white/grey split second and goes off no pic. TV still on as can use remote to turn on and off. Would like to start over fresh with some help off anyone please. what to go through,try.test etc. Until we can find problem or parts I will need.
Like I say any help is much appreciated and can't thank you guys enough just for taking the time to help out.

Hi guys having problem with this TV I bought not coming on. Stanby light flashes on.think as normal boot sequence. But then no light until I press a button or use remote.
Done test on PCB and seems ok. Get 5v standby but ps_on is low 0.14. but when short ps_on with gnd I get 3.6v so think this showing as it's on and working.
Getting no readings for vs, va etc.
Green led flashing slow on Logic board after little research suspect main.y or X sus. When unplug either no change.but unsure can't find much on this model.
Any help much appreciated.

thanks for that bud. keep checking to see if any one had anything on this. but no joy.can buy these off rs components but 19 to choose from. could you recommend any? common ones etc. read a few threads you've been on about low ohms.diameter.watts etc. and mine was I think 13mm dia. but was badly blown and lost part now. seen a few 15mm.on there which would be ok. also some say application is for soft startmotor&switching power supply. some just for switching. and some for protection. which one would mine be for as could help narrow...Leave a comment:

Got an lg50ps3000. When i turn it on light goes blue as if ok to go. But no pic or sound. When i unplug ysus board get sound but no pic. If i plug that back in and unplug zsus board i get picture and sound (colour not right, but good pic) simple question. Y sus failure or z sus failure. Or both?
