Replacement for ICE2AS01
I need two of these chips: ICE2AS01
Findchips shows only one place that has them... and you have to spend a min of $25 there on Quest. I don't need THAT many. I'm looking for another chip that might work. Any help?
Thanks!

Re: Vertical blue lines
Oh, and I don't have to push on the ribbon right where you see it in the photo. I can push on the side, I even varied my pushing. Sometimes the pushing doesn't work at all. I'm not sure if it is a "push and it makes connection issue" or that my finger makes a ground point?

Vertical blue lines
I have a NEC 1960NX monitor. It works great, only issue is about a 2" vertical blue lines from top to bottom. I've narrowed the issue down to the ribbon type connector that goes from the actual screen to the board. If I push down on the tape in various places, the lines go away. I can't see any way of fixing this... Am I out of luck? Toss the screen and keep the good boards for parts?
The pic shows the board I'm talking about... as I can't think of what to call it. And the close up is the ribbon cable I push on....

Re: Swap a 1000uf 10V for a 1500uf 16V
Not a bad idea. I don't really do this for the money though. I'm not sure the hassle is worth it to be honest. I have an electronics recycling place around the corner from me. They pay $2/lb for computer boards. I will just add it to my pile. I take a box full there every so often and they sell me LCD monitors for $10 a piece.
I get more joy out of fixing the broken monitors and then selling them very cheaply. I really don't make money... just enough to support my hobby and maybe buy a case of beer each month....

Re: Swap a 1000uf 10V for a 1500uf 16V
I just found one of these Philips 19mf337b next to a dumpster. Opened it up and caps were blown... replaced and now it works. Only problem is that the screen is damaged. Looks like the TV must have went bad, and then the owner took out his/her frustration on the screen. It is a shame. Makes me want to put up signs all over town "If your LCD TV/Monitor stops working, please just give it to me instead of breaking it more in frustration or throwing it out".

Looking for replacement MOSFET MMDF2C03HDR2G
I have an IBM monitor and MOSFETs are blown... MMDF2C03HDR2G
I looked up the parts on both Mouser and Digikey and they are out... I'm horrible at finding parts that will work in stead of the originals. Can anyone help me out finding a replacement?
Thanks

Zener diode test question
I have a surface mount zener diode and I want to make sure it is good/bad. I believe it may be shorted, but not sure. Here is the data sheet:
http://www.taitroncomponents.com/catalog/Datasheet/TZT2.0W.pdf
The diode is part number: TZT7.5YW
When testing resistance across pins 1-3... I get 21 ohms... Max Zener Impedence is listed as 23... does this mean I'm ok? Or am I grossly misunderstanding this?
Thanks for any and all helpI have a surface mount zener diode

Re: Dell 2007FPb Not coming on
I'll have to look at it in a week... I left it at work, and I'm on vacation for the week. I'm not sure about the eeprom issue. I do believe I've found some bad components... just not wanting to order/replace them without knowing if I got most/all of it... so to not ruin the new stuff.

Re: Dell 2007FPb Not coming on
That fuse is F19, and it is bad. I'm more worried about the logic board, as it is harder for me to follow. Also, the FD's... on the USB board... not sure what they are, or how to test them. I get different readings for some of them....

Re: Dell 2007FPb Not coming on
Yes. The logic board and the usb board are both bad.
Q6 has 3 legs... I was counting the little stub in the center as a leg......

Dell 2007FPb Not coming on
I have a Dell 2007FPb which shows no power or LED lit. I have the fortune of having two of these... so due to board swapping, I've narrowed it down to the main/logic board and the USB add on board as being bad. I have voltage coming into the logic board (19V) but nothing on it. Here is what I've found so far, and would love some help on where else to look:
Q6: Pin 1 to 3 show 43 ohms
Pin 1 to 4 show 43 ohms
Pin 3 to 3 show 0 ohms
Q6 is the same parts as Q9 and Q14... but these all have OL for those same readings... so I assume that Q6 is shot...
