Hello all,

Have a Garmin 530 HCx that I am looking for some assistance with resolving a technical problem.

During normal use, across the top of the screen there are several icons. One of which is the battery status indicator. When the Lithium Ion battery is used, I get the icon for when the battery is being charged. When the unit is turned off I got the icon for amount of battery life that floats around the screen.

I have contacted Garmin and updated to the latest software version. No change in the battery status described above. The 530 series is at...

Joined this forum looking for help troubleshooting portable electronics. Specifically, I have 3 Garmin RINO 530 HCx units. One is giving me some technical problems. Garmin has discontinued the 530 line of RINO's. Before I sell and make the jump to the 600 series was hoping for some help.
