Oh okay, just making sure. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? Like I said, this TV doesn't have the average amount of hours on it that the average 5 year old TV does. I just hope I can fix it, I really like this TV and researched it for awhile. It's just a shame that these things happen....

I've looked up the model number and SVC number, I've read that the TCON is integrated. On SJ there's no TCON listed for parts.

Is it normal for it to be fine after a few minutes with no issues for the rest of the day? Some weeks it won't appear for 2-3 days then all of a sudden show up for 5-10 minutes then it's gone again. I think I'm just really hoping that this is not the case, took me awhile to...

I worry that it's the tcon because if I'm not mistaken, it's attached to the panel and cannot be replaced . I also noticed that the parts for this TV are very hard to find and the ones I found have insane prices.

It happens on all inputs. I will work on getting a picture with the back panel off....

For the last couple of months I've been dealing with an issue that I cannot seem to find anyone else having. I bought the 42LD550 exactly 5 years ago, this TV is not in the living room so it does not get as much use as the other TV.

The first time it did this was last winter (2014) but it only did it once and never again. About the middle November this issue started up again, I noticed it was always in the morning or at night when the TV would be off for awhile.
