No. I just have basic electronic understanding, but not enough hands on experience to find a solution when the suggested fix didn't work.
I don't have the screen any more.

I took just one ear piece from an older gamer headset and replaced wire and 3 pole jack. I don't need the mic pole. It's for listening when I have my head on a pillow. Then I don't have lay on my back.
So now I can rest my head on the side and have that one ear piece on my head.Leave a comment:

Frustration that mini-jacks don't fit.
I'd just like to went a bit of frustration that mini-jacks have varying shape / size.
After replacing a headset connector twice they still don't fit the same way or as well as the original one.
Do you guys know if there is one that fits well in general (3 poles)? Or maybe it's the female connector on the phone that's off. -

Model: ATP3
Issue: The system doesn't respond. As in ... totally dead.
The sound of the system was great for my use, so I'll try to fix it.
There's no visual indication of problems on the components. No smells or sound either.
I've measured the transformer and apparently there's a broken primary coil in the transformer. ( Resistance above 1990 khms. )
Do you agree, it's broken?
How do I go about buying a new one?... -

There's no power from the supply.
The speaker is ok. 4 ohms.
I'll look around for a new transformer. The only identification is a number '0237'. I dont suppose that's enough to go on. Perhaps I can find a diagram some where.Leave a comment:

Altech Lansing pc speaker system gave in after 10+ years. A few pops in the sound and then... gone.
...but I love them.
I've opened up the subwoofer and looked in side. No mechanical problems, no weired smells or apparently blown caps.
Meassuring resistance on a fuse gives
2 ohms.
There's a transformer.
Primary side 800k ohm
Secondary side 0.9 Ohm.... that seems wrong.
Is it possible for anyone to confirm that, That seems to be the problem?

After replacing the transformer, 2233rz good 2 secs. then goes black still! What next?
Step 1)
Unsoldered original inverter transformer.
Measurements:
s1-s2: no contact!
s3-s4: 868 ohms
p1-p2: < 1 ohm
From what I read here in this thread, that means one coil is broken.
Step 2)
Ordered new part. It's not the same, but it IS a TM-0915. I assume secondary numbering doesn't matter?
The old one is TM-0915 TNE0916DT.
