OK this is what I have for the readings.
My DMM IS set on DCV. 200
The sticker on the TV shows; VA=60V...... VS =193V
there are 3 VS LOCATIONS. I plugged the tv in and it clicked twice on and twice off. I measured the 3 VS locations and they were all over the place.
130 down to 88.
The stndby locations all measured 4.9.
NOTE; If I leave the tv plugged in, it continuously cycles 2 clicks ON, 2 clicks OFF.
I unplugged the YSUS and I had 2 clicks and then NOTHING ELSE....

Hello. When I plug my TV in i get two clicks, these boards light up with the green LED lights (SEE PICS BELOW), THEN two more clicks and nothing happens. It continues to cycle this way if i leave it plugged in. NO PIC/SOUND.

I checked the fuses in diode mode.
Both read = 0
Attached is a pic of the correct board that you suggested that I check.

UPDATE; With the power off,I selected diode mode and put the black lead on the chaSsis and the RED lead on VS (THERE ARE 3 VS OR RED CABLES)....
1. VS READING = 1
2. VS READING = 1
3. VS READING = 1

OK so i put the DVM ON DCV 200 selection and checked the VS Lines (3)
Remember the tv clicks on twice and off twice.
1.when the tv clicks on the DVM is all over the place.
2. when the tv clicks off the DVM shows 23-24
The VS label on the tv shows
VS= 193V
VA= 63V I checked this and its shows to be correct.
What do I check now that is seems the VS lines are not showing the right Voltages?...Leave a comment:

I am a novice with the DVM so what setting do choose to check for short. My DVM does not have audible capability so Im not sure how to check thx....Leave a comment:

STDby = 4.96V
VS 0n =4.51V

Hello I have a tv that will not power up. It simply clicks on twice and then two clicks off. I am in need of someone to help guide me on what test points to try with my DMM. I need step by step help with the DMM ie... what setting to select when i test a certain circuit. I have a basic DMM that does not have an audible s/c. Thanks in advance.
I have spent hours reading through different forums and I am at whits end. What am I missing? HEELLLLPPPP?
