Re: Vizio VX32L Main Board
thanks bud I do not have the remote here its at my daughters house . will retrieve it and try your suggestion. the fact that the power is intermmt leads me towards the mother board as well . still will try post 31 to help narrow it down. the on/off button turns it white and then it jumps back to orange , if you play with switch and hold long enough it will stay white , thanks for all your help

Re: Vizio VX32L Main Board
I have a mother board coming just in case , I unplugged the ir board connector no change, its almost like you have to play with the switch on/off until something finally release and let it turn on. when pushing the on/off it will flip from white to orange and eventually if you work it the power will eventually turn on and back lites come as well

Re: Vizio VX32L Main Board
bud on pins a&b on the power supply connectors I am getting 3.2 on and a is 2.9 the screen is on the switch is weird if you hold for 2 sec it catches , and yes my power board is 0500-057-0240
just a note when the screen is on and I have the 3volts at the power on pin when I turn the on /off switch off the blue screen goes off but the 3volt signal stays on and the white lite on tv stays on as well , so I disconnect power from wall to take the power off . re-plug back in measure 3volts when turned back on but screen does not come onLast edited by 302931; 02-12-2016, 12:58 PM.
