I may have had the same problem. Are you trying to mount the TV to the wall?

I have had my model for 3 years. Yesterday I moved the TV to another room to mount on a wall. I installed a generic wall mount system that connected directly to the TV. I first hung the TV and it worked fine. I then removed the base and the "neck" that slides into the bottom of the TV. With the neck out the TV has no picture or sound. I put the neck back in and everything works fine. Vizio says that it should work fine without the next. It would...
