Re: Sanyo DP26649- T-CON Issue?
Ideally I would use a crt in the arcade game, but since new CRTs are expensive and I had this lying around, I figured why not. Plus it's not like it's a classic game anyways, just a cab I was thinking about turning into a mame cab....Last edited by brandonharrison10; 02-02-2016, 12:32 PM.

Re: Sanyo DP26649- T-CON Issue?
There is only one place where a ribbon cable goes into the panel, and that's at the t-con in the 1st pic. The second pic is of the power and main boards, which have to be removed to remove the back case and access the panel.
PS I know the lighting sucks, but it's the best I could do this late....

Re: Sanyo DP26649- T-CON Issue?
I realize that, and that could be spot on. But as it warms up and the skinny image along the top grows, it grows vertically. Also, as I am able to see the skinny image up top, there are colors from the skinny image that run vertically up and down the whole screen, even where the image has not reached yet.
If not the T-CON, any suggestions on how to find out/fix the issue?...

Sanyo DP26649- T-CON Issue?
I would love some help confirming a diagnosis!
I have a Sanyo DP26649 that I was given. I'd love to get it running so I can replace a faulty CRT in an arcade game. When I first plugged it in, I powered it on and the green power light lit up and the backlight came on, but there was no picture. It seemed like there was no response at all from button presses other than to power it back off. While messing with it I began o notice a small green line near the top right where the channel indicator would normally be on the screen. I flipped channels until I could see a thin, maybe 1/4...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello! My name is Brandon and I am new to the forum, and somewhat new to fixing TVs! My brother and I fix old arcade games and I have been tinkering with broken electronics for years. I am a Spanish teacher, but I fix discarded LCD TVs in my spare time to earn some extra cash.
