    Hi Badcaps community,
    I got my hand on one of this e701i-A3... backlight but no picture, I brought a new tcon thinking that was the problem, put the brand new tcon still same problem, I follow freak8 to test the driver but nothing change that probably I burned the new tcon? I will attempt to test the tcon now to see if oIcan repair it without buying a new board.

    Thanks everyone on the thread. I has this Vizio e701i-a3 with no video.

    With the provide instruction on this thread, I determine that the MOSFET is burn, I lucky found it on amazon $12 for 10 of them.
    Replace the MOSFET and test the left and right driver cable, I found the right side is bad. Peeling the right side driver off brought my tv back to live.

    The problem i had is that i manage to destroy both the left and right driver ribbon cable, I can't seem to find it online. I had another broken sony AIO computer...

    Hi selldoor, thanks for response.

    I did not order capacitors from online, perhaps I got the capacitors from a local electronic shop, the capacitors are NTE brand. I don't know how good they are compare to Panasonic capacitors.

    I have update country and mains voltage. I also did confirm that i did put them in the correct polarity....

    Hi all,

    Another owner of Hanns- HG281D failing and hope to get some help to get it going again. My monitor have no problem power on, but after power on the image on the screen show up normal for about 2 seconds then the screen start to fade and change the color, the image on screen turned very bright and then slowly fade and become negative just like how negative 35mm film are and remain that way. Power off and on the monitor will behave the same way. After reading through this thread, I have try to replace a few caps on the...
