Annoyingly, it developed the "constantly running broiler fan" problem at exactly the same time the clock gave up the ghost. I know I've seen others reference that problem in this thread, and I suspect that they may be related somehow. I've posted the details of my experience in the thread on that subject should anyone else be interested.

I'm posting just to offer the details of my recent experience with this problem, in case it triggers an "A ha!" moment for someone else:

My oven recently developed the dimming clock problem described in the other thread. It got progressively worse over weeks, until one day my wife turned on the oven, and it appeared completely out to her. I looked at it, and I think it was very, very dim, but not completely out. Hi, I'm a computer programmer by trade, with an engineering background. Found your site while looking for information regarding repairing my Jenn-air oven.
