Re: LG 42PJ550 continuously clicking?
Hi Timmy,
I've replaced these resistors already (the attached photo was before I did the work). R927 & R929 in the top right are 22Ω. All seemed to test OK anyway but they were in a repair kit I bought so changed them out anyway.
I'll have another look tonight
Thanks

Re: LG 42PJ550 continuously clicking?
Hi R_J,
Thank you for the response - I'll check what you have suggested tonight.
I've absolutely hammered the forum over the last few days and was looking at everything power supply related... they seem to be plagued by a few specific faults on the PSU so I gravitated towards that.. I did disconnect the sus boards (only one connector comes out of the PSU for them) and the fault stayed the same. I've not measured anything yet with the multimeter but I intend to tonight.
Thank you.Last edited by Loz2212; 11-21-2019, 06:05 AM.

LG 42PJ550 continuously clicking?
Hi guys,
I've got a LG 42PJ550 that went down on me over the weekend. The symptoms are it just keeps clicking and won't start. It was intermittent for a few hours and would cycle on and off and randomly start. Now it won't start at all.
I bought a repair kit which included 2 x 22ohm resistors for R927 & R929, a voltage regulator for IC301 and a diode for D304. I'm also waiting for some SMD resistors to arrive which is another 'known fix'.
I'd like to bow to the alter of the experts here and ask your thoughts... any voltage checks I can do to narrow...

Pic of what the screen looks like.
Apologies for it being upside down and dusty lol. The picture is also very dark....Last edited by Loz2212; 05-15-2017, 08:53 AM.

Samsung LE37A556P1F blue tint to the screen?
Hi guys,
As the title says, the TV has a blue tint to the screen, really quite bad as well, it's unwatchable. I've just put a new T-Con (well, refurbished with new gamma chip) into it as well. I'm not entirely sure what the fault was before, it was probably 12 months ago when I looked, I just had a record that it needed a T-Con board so ordered it up. Not sure whether the picture was blue before
Any ideas? Knackered LCD ?
Thanks.

Re: Seiki SE39HY03UK won't go past Seiki start up screen?
It's got the textbook issues with the bootloop, but I'm no expert. That eeprom is for the 32inch model for the same board.. (unless that doesn't matter). I spoke to a TV guy earlier who sells eeprom chips on ebay.. He said the board and screen number both have to match.. Can't vouch for that so bit apprehensive to order. Thanks for the reply ...

Re: Seiki SE39HY03UK won't go past Seiki start up screen?
It's strange that it is only partially corrupted.. I've had it working twice (last night and this morning until I turned it off then it wouldn't work again). It's just stuck in this boot loop. Can't get a board or eeprom anywhere.. Not really sure what to do next

Seiki SE39HY03UK won't go past Seiki start up screen?
Hi guys,
Just been given this TV for free from a neighbour. They told me it would sometimes load up and sometimes wouldn't. It's just stuck on the Seiki screen.
I took it home, plugged it in and it worked fine all day yesterday.
Come to it this morning and it's back to how it was with them. The seiki logo just stays on the screen and after a while it restarts and does the same again.
Really appreciate any help from you guys.
Thanks.

Re: Samsung LE23R88BD stands light flickering?
Thank you so much CapLeaker. Swapped out that 10v 1000uf CB852 and the diode as well as it measured very low. TV works perfect. Fired up instantly and I've turned it on and off a few times just to check. First time I've come across a bad cap that wasn't visually deformed. Thanks once again and for your time. Such a great forum.
