Is there any change you could forward the details of the supplier for this chipset for the NAD T743 ?
Same thing happened , lightning storm and nothing was plugged in... I noted the post was in 2014 , but taking a chance here..
NAD support in South Africa went for runner.

Is this Power supply the exact same one as posted in the picture of my thread?
Having blown zeners sounds more that this TV had a direct lightning strike.
I have been unsuccessful to source the correct chip located at N501 and only found similar ones that works but not in the way intended , hence my discovery of the cap that caused it to not switch on..
My last resort was to build a power supply, to supply power the other 2 that this 1 starts up..

Hi , check the small electrolyitic cap next to the N105... sit close to pin 1
DON"t even check it just replace it.. with exactly the same value.. anything higher or lower messed me around..
That will switch on the chip.
Also watch out for the HT boards on this tv Master & Slave...

OK so here is a bummer the FSQ110 from Fairchild is discontinued ...grrrrr...
Had a look at their datasheets ""with my extremely slow internet connection""
Followed the ""rabbit "" and pointed me to the FSL206MR which I ordered via RS-Online... and seem there is a couple of light mods needed to get this chap working in there...
Seem I don't get any voltage on pin 1 and 2 like BUDM mentioned .. not even with the FSL206 in place ...pin 5 is the point to which the cap at pin 2...Leave a comment:

320v dc it's actualy have 2 filter caps,
one for the 24v supply and a 2nd for the standby..
i have attached a bottom pcb view..

Good evening all.
Anyone came across this this PSU board ?
No bad caps (wow) but dead.
all switch mode transistors test 100%
had 1 dogey cap .
and it is not powering up , not even the separate psu on the board that from tracing seem to be the standby psu which in turn switch on the rest of the main board.
i have my suspicions on ic :n501 (Q110 wich is a FPS chip from fairchild semi)
ordered and waiting from RS components..
BUT would like some thoughts around it..... -

Hi guys anyone still messing with these ipos150 psu's
Got a telefunken exactly the same Psu as the Polaroid ones you have been discussing, 32inch which was dead recapped and did the diode thing(her308) as I can't get any thing lower..
Runs fine for like 10min BUT then starts whiting out as if the backlight gets over driven.
No flashing red led as it is a diagnostic light.
PCB has been reflowed voltages checks out. I am now at wits end but really would like to get it running , been trawling posts...Leave a comment:

Hi saw this posts ended ages ago ... Any idea why the tubes would be overdriven ?
My TV is tedelex with the exact board and rev numbers and got it up and running reading all the post and help..but it's white out at the moment. And for some arb reason I have audio on the headphone jack but none on the speakers.volume , channels , menu etc all works.. But seem I have no control... In saying that what voltage should be at the AGN pin , I have my 5v,20v , stdby5v,and 12v... Any ideas would be appreciated. Can't seem to load pics from my iphone....Leave a comment:

Hi thanks for replying back i have uploaded a much better picture .
Im aware of the cap hence the reason i think the ic popped..... so that i can sort out. The main problem is i can't find the part for the inverter bit for the cfl's
you will see the one that popped and one is still ok the top bit off the number is the same 4605 and the other number is cd7k27 . but no data sheet provider turn anything up on these part numbers.
And if i can find out exactly how this ic operates i could build a generic of some sort....Leave a comment:

ive got a lamp driver problem on presario monitor one of ic's have poped and cant find it any where only marking it have is .....CD7K27...wich sound like this 8 pin ic was made for this monitor .....went to the Huipu electronics(shenzen) co ltd website but no help there
