Magnavox MDR515H HDD DVD Recorder Whine
I have a Magnavox MDR515H HDD DVD Recorder that has a high pitched whine when plugged in and will not turn on. I opened the unit up and saw 3 3300uf caps on the power supply board and 2 1000uf caps on the mainboard that were bad. I replaced the 5 caps and the whine is still there and no power. Has anyone else had this issue? -

Hello from Chicago. I like to tinker with electronics and try to repair instead of replace.
