Obviously this is not a problem anyone recognizes - hence no responses.

Anyway to update progress:
The fault as might be expected was with the TCON Board (which drives the image refresh of the LCD panel)
- and the TCON appears to be bonded to the LCD panel
- so it cannot be swapped for a working replacement

All the components on the TCON board are miniature surface mounted items
- which are difficult to identify, source and replace
- and I have no way to...

I have a 19" Samsung 913N LCD Monitor with an odd fault
- and would like to ask for some guidance in tracing the faulty component/pcb.

- that is any change to the image takes 30 seconds to complete[/B]

- from the built in "No Signal" message
- to the onscreen configuration menu (OSD)
- to all display inputs from a computer
