I wanted to give you guys an update...

Good news is, my tv is now fixed. Sadly, I was unable to do it myself as no matter what I did to the tab bondings, it wouldn't change anything.

Here is my fix:

Sent an email to Samsung stating that it doesn't make any %*(#@ sense that a 1500 dollar TV only lasted 2 years. They responded stating that they could not do anything since I am no longer covered by the warranty.

Spent a week...

Thanks Reecey, ill try again maybe on the weekend. Took about 2 hours in all for my testing and I had put it back together before sharing my results... Don't feel like jumping back into it right now haha.

Moreno, are you serious! It can be the tab on the left side of the screen even if the fault is on the right? Damn... I did check real quick, pushed on all of em but I might not have paid enough attention.

As for the amount of tabs... Mine only seems to have 4, is that possible?...

Thanks a lot for your help Moreno83, the videos were very educational. Unfortunately it seems like my tests failed.

I removed the frame to see the bonding tabs which are located at the bottom on this model. I tried pressing the tab, different ways, different pressure but it did not seem to directly affect any changes. At some point, I tapped sort of generally on the whole thing and the lines went away for about 5 seconds but then came back.......

I figured maybe it was the bonding...

I am hoping I can get some positive insight on the issue I am facing with my Samsung TV model UN55F6400AFXZC.

The TV is only 2 years old and I would hate to have to throw it out as I love its features and image quality

Last week while watching Netflix, a few distorted lines started to appear on the far right of the screen. I guess I should of turned it off right away but I didn't and after a few minutes it became more of a bar. The "bar" is not a solid color but changes/distorts colors depending on the background.
