anyone? i tried disconnecting the power board from other boards - no change except on the interface board- then i get 10 flashes of red led light, as expected i think....

I'm new to the forum, I've searched – but need some guidance. I'm a novice at tv repair…. So let me get to the point and see if anyone can help.

I have an older Panasonic plasma th42pd50u 2006 model. The other day it just wouldn't turn on. I have no standby power light and nothing happens when I push the power button or try to turn it on with the remote. I did some research and deduced that the main power board was the most likely issue. I replaced the board and have standby power (hear the audible click) when plugged in…..but still no LED light and nothing when I try to power...

Thanks for this forum. i've been tinkering with mechanical items for a long time, but only recently tried to make repairs to a couple tvs that had issues following an electrical storm. fixed those, now having issue with an older panasonic plasmaTV - that i hope to find some troubleshooting help with. th42pd50u thanks and look forward to the discussions
